          Hey All! My Name Is Randy Barnette..Im a Guitarist of 30+ years

  • I'm currently a Freelance Guitarist/Accompanist and Melody Writer in Nashville Tn. I love accompanying various artists in live band settings..Writers Rounds and Radio Tours..I'm blessed to be working with some of the best established writers and amazingly talented up and coming Writers/Artists in Nashville. I also do weekly co-writes creating music around lyrics/melodys for singer/songwriter projects and for Sync (Tv/Film). 
  •  Music has allowed me to travel all over the United States and parts of Canada..Along with studio sessions I have also toured with many Cover and Original Bands..I have played the "A" Hotel Circuits to 3,000 seat arena's to outdoor crowd's of 8,000 plus.. I have shared the stage and opened up for such Act's as: Vince Gill and Jayme Johnson at The Ryman Auditorium In Nashville Tn Accompanying The Voice's Trio 'Worth The Wait'..Frankie Ballard..Easton Corbin..Bob Wooten(Johnny Cash)..Shooter Jennings with Waymore's Outlaws..Trace Adkins..The Casey Donahew Band..Josh Thompson..The Band Perry..The Randy Rodgers Band..The Van Lears and Brian Davis for the Brantley Gilbert after show party..I have also worked with Two Major Record Labels on Developmental Deals playing guitar.. 
  •  Along with several Independent Artist Cuts I've recently had songs I co-wrote recorded by "The Voices"  Pop Trio 'Worth The Wait' and also Singer Meghan Woods from ABC's Season Two of American Idol Produced by Country Star Jamie O'Neal and Nashville Producer Nick Gibbens. I've also had Three songs placed in Christmas movies I have co-written named "Hashtag Blessed The Movie" and an "UnPerfect Christmas Wish" and “Sappy Holiday” on all streaming channels. 
  • I am honored to have recently won Guitarist of The Year at The 2022 Josie Music Awards held at The Grand Ole Opry. I love to perform live here in Nashville accompanying so many amazing Artists weekly..I'm a member of ASCAP and Owner of RB1 Publishing..I enjoy teaching guitar and helping people..Next to God and Family Music is the most important thing in my life :)
